What data we collect

This website does not use contact forms or collect data automatically. The only personal data we receive is what you voluntarily send us by email — typically your name, business name, and email address when enquiring about joining the scheme.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools on this site.

How we use it

Email enquiries are used solely to respond to your message and, if you join the scheme, to maintain your membership record. We do not use your data for marketing, pass it to third parties, or store it beyond what is necessary.

Our lawful basis for processing personal data is legitimate interest — managing participation in the 2% Pledge and communicating with members and enquirers — and, where applicable, contractual necessity in connection with scheme membership.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to manage participation in the scheme and for legitimate administrative and reporting purposes. Enquiry emails that do not lead to membership are deleted when no longer needed. Member records are kept for the duration of membership and for a reasonable period thereafter for reporting purposes.

Member responsibility

Organisations participating in the 2% Pledge are responsible for ensuring that any data they provide to us — including supporting documentation and accountant statements — is accurate and has been lawfully compiled and shared. 2percent.uk relies on the accuracy of information provided by members and accepts no liability for inaccurate or misleading submissions.

Google Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests a font, your IP address is transmitted to Google's servers. This is standard practice for sites using Google Fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to that transfer: policies.google.com/privacy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
